Who we are

Ben Hossley started Cutting the Green, originally a lawn maintenance company, in 2005 at the age of 16. A couple years later in an effort to set his company apart from other local landscape companies Ben began training in the tree care industry eventually becoming an ISA Certified Arborist specializing in hazardous tree removal.

In 2018 Ben began phasing out the landscape maintenance side of Cutting the Green to be able to focus full time on the tree care industry, eventually becoming the company we are today.

While a lot of things have changed over the years at Cutting the Green tree service, our commitment to our customers remains the same. Our goal is to provide high quality services along with a fair and honest assessment of each job so as to not sell you unnecessary services.
